METODI ATTIVI means
ACTION METHODS

Our professionals have complementary skills that allow us to extend our services to three main areas:

We work alongside our partners and clients in identifying training needs and formulating tailored projects.
COACHING AND TRAINING - WORKSHOPS - CONFERENCES, CONVENTIONS AND EVENTS

Our action methods include PSYCHODRAMA and SOCIODRAMA designed by J. L. Moreno
and PLAYBACK THEATRE developed by Jonathan Fox.

They allow individuals, groups and organizations to become protagonists in a process of analysis, development and transformation of one's inner world and relationships.

They offer the opportunity to look from new points of view, access to the symbolic dimension, to deeply understand each other and one's own environment, to experiment and learn new and more responsive ways to encounter their needs and desires in relationships.

ASSOCIATION
Formally estabilished in 2010, MA was born in 2007 as an "intervention - research laboratory". It is formed by professional psychologists, psychotherapists and consultants with many years experience in Psychodrama, Sociodrama and Playback Theater.

ACTIVITIES
Our association has two main purposes: to offer our professional partners  the opportunity to meet , exchange best practices and develop skills; to promote group development as an instrument of social welfare.

APPROACH
Our interventions are based on psychological, sociological and organization's theories and  are person-centered and focused on relationships. The methods originate from active play. As in the theatron (the ancient one of those who participate and  not the modern one made for a quiet audience) action methods are based on the action, watching, reflecting and mirroring.

NETWORK
We promote projects and spread the practice and theory of action methods in a network with IAGP (International Association of Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes), FEPTO (Federation of European  Psychodrama Training Organisations) and IPTN (International  Playback Theatre Network).

ACTION METHODS

PSYCHODRAMA
The protagonist is the single person, who, with the therapist and the group, will explore his inner world and relationships to find ways to be more adequate to his desires and needs.

SOCIODRAMA
The protagonist is the group; the conductor accompanies a creative problemsolving process to explore and develop the relations of the group or a specific theme.

PLAYBACK THEATRE
A company of actors and musicians act as a sounding board for the stories of the public. METODI ATTIVI is a seat of the SIPT, Italian School for Playback Theatre.

We think of people, groups and communities as responsible protagonists for welfare in their personal and social lifes.
In our intervention, individual counseling, group leading and projects for community and organisation development theatre we promote awareness and relationship skills.
